The knock sensor on your 4.6 L is under ur intake manifold..... dead center...... I only know this cause I happened across it when I was changing my 98s motor block(which still isnt running under its own power yet.....) but if u plan on changing it have someone run ur truck on diag.... dont try to change unless u HAVE to...... U probably will have to go as far as tearing ur intake off to get to it.....
