Ok I found my answer! While washing the engine compartment this weekend I found the label I needed.
93 F150 Xcab uses R-12.
BTW if you guys can find some Power Clean made by Coastal at your local auto parts store, I highly recomend it for degreasing.
I kicks butt. Just don't let it dry on polished aluminum or paint. This stuff is very potent.
