Vacuum problem
I have a '92 F150 4 x 4 with the 5.0 and auto, 82,000 miles. The truck starts well, idles and runs smoothly. I have noticed that when going up a hill while accelerating, the a/c vents seem to shut off. After I clear the top of the hill and I'm going downhill, they come back on. This makes me think the truck doesn't have enough vacuum to keep the vent doors open, but I don't have any evidence of a vacuum leak. Anyone have any experience with this or suggestions? Could the reservoir inside the truck cause this problem, the reservoir in which all the lines go to inside the truck???
