Sad to report that the odds of me making this are slim. Dad has bigger expectations then what he should on the amount of work he thinks we can do in two days. I will be trying to do some work there before hand. Oh well family comes first, then play time.
Fordman79, maybe we could meet up and try to get some other locals to join sometime. I was really looking forward to meeting more Ford enthusiasts. Most of my friends are GM guys but we all respect eachother.
I do understand and agree family is important. We should try that it would be great to meet more Ford enthusiast I to seem to know a lot of other brand owners as well. PM me sometime and maybe we can figure something out.

Is Georgia still going to be able to make it to the G2G?
Well lets put it this way Thursday morning my work truck and trailer was brought to the freightliner in Morton on the hook for some major issues to be addressed after 2 days in a row putting me alongside the rd for 8 hrs at a time.... so yep I am still planning on being there sunday... not sure if either of the other 2 in this house will be able to make it but I am heading that way for sure
How did the gathnering go? I bet you guys had a better time than I did. Wound up loading wood all day Saturday and Sunday morning. Then had to work on building an enclosure for parents back porch. We did however score a 13' x 1' 6" piece of Walnut. Then a few other smaller chunks. That was a blast to load.
Was a great time had by all of us, Ron from Rantoul. Georgia from Havana and myself. Baked under a tree at Arby's BSing then had something for lunch then headed out to Ron's FIL&MIL's Reindeer Ranch where we BSed some more we fed their reindeer and learned a lot about their small herd of 21.the party broke up around 5:00, then the long ride home.
Thanks for sharing the pics Ron. Looks like you all had a great time. I'll do my best to make it to the next one. At least I know I'll always have a FORD to drive. Lol we are an all Ford family with 4 trucks and 3 cars. Well one is a Mercury but same thing. Lol
