Dana 80 DRW to SRW

Have a 95 f450.
7.3l powerstroke. Will be making this into a shortened wheelbase 4x4 machine.
Dana 60 front.

Rig has a dana 80 DRW. I have located some Dodge 3500 SRW dana 80's.
Have been looking all over for a tech write up for a conversion or if it's really possible.
I want to run the housing and disk brakes that my FORD has on the drw but convert to srw for the obvious reasons.

help is much appreciated or if anybody got a link to a tech...

Not going to happen. the F-superduty(F450) has 10 lug wheels. any single wheel is only 8 lug

Your best bet is to get a single wheel axle(I recommend a Sterling 10.25) and reweld the spring perches on the narrower c-n-c pattern. Then you will have the single wheel axle you are looking for with the 8 on 6.5 bolt patter(the same as front)

Thanks everyone.
Yes, it looks like the only option then is to buy super singles or go with a sterling rear.

Gonna cost close to the same no matter what--either $$$ for super singles and 5.13 gears for the front...or gears for a sterling and the front.
For 42" plus tires the Dana 80 is better but I guess the sterlings can handle.

I know, I've got 4.10s in my IDI turbo...don't think anything beyond 35 or 36 would work...
That f450 is a Di code f powerstroke though...
Got a intercooler from a 03 for it and some other mods is the plan but it has 5.13s in the Dana 80.
I think I could make that work

I have 4.10s and 35s in my 97 power stroke. 3.55s would be nice for cruising on the highway Empty, but I use my truck so 4.10s are perfect. 4.56 or 5.13 will be what you want with 42s
