Hello all,
Recently bought a 65f100, for my first project. After paying for my 2nd tranny rebuild on my 2008s f150, i decided im going to sink $ and time on something, might as well choose a classic ride.
Found or can fabricate most most body panels that need re-doing. Have a feeling under that electric blue paint job, im going to find some rusted out AB pillars, and also going to need some work around the front an back windshield.
Live in Puerto Rico, so not too many options finding a better cab and shipping one down from mainland seems excessive.
Both pillars and windshield gutters are tough jobs for the uninitiated, lookng for advice, or possible leads into replacement pillars at least.
Thanks for both, i thought maybe if i find a donor, getting the pillars cut out of the cab so as to minimize shipping cost. Drip rails i can probably make....i think. Would any of pillars from the more recent and abundant ford model vans or trucks (late 70-early 90) work to fix/ patch my existings..?.?
