got a lil work done on this long weekend. did the dr side floor patch, but the pass side will need the whole floor patch. pulled the bed, doors and fenders.
those floor pans sure do look better than mine when i got it! I also filled the roof seam but i shaved the drip rail at the same time. Looks like you should be able to make you a nice looking highboy when its all said and done

I shaved the drip rails on mine and I didn't like the way it looked. The top of the doors didn't line up with the roof line very well at all, looked like crap to me! Hope your turn out better than mine because its a royal P.I.T.A$$ To find new ones and to put them back on.
All in all you have a good build started will be looking forward to more progress.
Very nice!! I didn't pay near enough attention to the little bump where the roof meets the drip rail, (it was one of those one too many beers and a nudge from a chevy guy after we did his... things, lol!) So when I put the doors back on it didn't look very good...
so after some degreasing an power washing big blue wouldnt start, pulled it back into the shop with the atv. at some point the wires have caught fire before. so perfect time to rip it all out an get ready to pull the motor for the rest of the restore. just a few pics between working and beer breaks.
