Wife told me something was wrong stumbles or hesitation while driving. I drove it nothing happened. She called last night service engine soon light came on. She called again it's flashing and running rough. The local parts stores are 15 miles away. So i'm going to just go buy a scan tool.
A little history. It was tuned up at 100k and still had a intermitted problem would stall while driving. I changed out the fuel pump and filter with a Motorcraft pump. Problem was not fixed. So I changed out the entire fuse box. it had a burnt relay that was soldered to the board. Vehicle now has 155k and has been mostly trouble free the last 55k.

Scan showed misfire #2 cylinder. Reset the pcm. Drove about 15 miles it is missing really bad but no new code. So I guess I will replace the COP and plug see what happens.
Pulled it out and checked with an ohm meter, checked ok. Switched it with number one, drove it trying to get another code and it ran like crap worse than it had been. But would not throw another miss fire . So I went the parts store picked up a new coil put it in runs just fine for now. The parts guy told me you better buy 8 they will just keep going bad.
