You mean that they made some where the bed actually lined up perfect? Mine is off by at least 3/8 of an inch, its in that I will repair someday file!
That's nothing. The SuperDuties (mine included) look like they dropped the bed in place from the assembly plant ceiling and just ran the giant torx bolts through wherever it landed.
The fix is simple. Loosen the T500 (or whatever they are) torx and have a beer and a buddy shift the bed around until satisfied. The capture clips in the frame have a ton of slop and play in them and allow for ample adjustment. IIRC there's a torque value to the torx bolts but I do not remember what it was.
I still haven't looked and I'm not gonna. Another scorcher today with 1.5 hours of forced overtime. Plus I've been driving the Focus for four weeks now and I haven't even burned 1/4 of a tank in my truck in that time.
Off topic but I'm taking a good, long look at the new Focus Tim. At around 25k a year driving back and forth from Chicago to MtCarroll (270 mile round trip), I could just keep the truck out there and use the 4runner here in Chicago, keep miles off both of them and probably buy another building with the fuel savings.

My cousin who is a contractor did just that. The Focus is his business car for sales calls and such and the truck only pulls now. 40+ hwy MPG's is a good deal.
I also had a misaligned bed - to the extent that I was noticing the leading edge of the bed was getting some paint wear from stones and bugs. I took it back under warranty and the dealer took care of it.
