manual tailgate window?
Did Ford ever offer a manual window for the '78-'96 Broncos? I've never seen one, but I always wanted one........sorta like the GM style unit. I like the look of the smooth tailgate, but the reliability of a manual window would be nice.

There was a post many moons ago from someone claiming to have actually laid eyes on a tailgate with a manual rear glass assembly. Now the validity of this claim has never been substantiated that I know of. To the best of my knowledge, it was never offered as a factory option. 66-77 had the glass assembly as part of the top. From 78-96 the glass rolled down into the tailgate via an electric motor.
