Manual steering gear boxes use steering gear grease, not gear oil...which destroys the seals within a short time.

The reason for the leakage: The sector shaft seal (3591) and the steering shaft seal (3738) are history!

Both are available NOS and I suggest you replace the gasket (3581), sector shaft bushing (3576), steering shaft bearings (3571) and races (3552/3553) at the same time.

The above are basic part numbers. If you want the full part numbers and sources that have them, let me know.

Column left, 2nd part number from top:

C3AZ-19578-A .. Steering Gear Lubricant / It's grease, since it comes in a cartridge that's inserted into a hand held grease gun.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Column left, 18th part number from top:

C2AZ-19580-F .. Hypoid Gear Lubricant (rear axle) 90 weight. Same as C2AZ-19580-A except it came in a 120 lb. keg.

You can buy steering gear grease in any auto parts store, but before you use it, the seals should be replaced first.
