Firestone Ride Rite Transfer

I would like to transfer my air bags from my 2004 f250 to my 2012 f350. I read a few weeks ago that somebody did the same thing but had to order a bracket for the newer truck due to the def tank. Does anybody know where a fella could get his hands on a bracket? Thanks for the help!!

I don't know about that, the Firestone website lists part 4101 for all Super Duty trucks up to 2013. Have you looked to see if they will fit?

I know my bags didn't fit from my 2008 to my current truck because of the def tank. The mounting bracket was all that was needed though. I didn't think of just replacing the bracket, I bought a new kit. I would suggest calling Firestone directly to find out.

I swapped the Ride Rite air bags from my 04 to my 12, back in January. The only difference is the upper bracket on the drivers side. If you go to etrailer.com, you can find the installation instructions which has a parts list. You can get the part number and google it. I think I ended up buying it from summit racing for like $50.

It might have changed in the last few months, but there was a time when if you had factory 5th wheel hitch prep you needed a different part number. If you have factory prep be sure to verify, otherwise no worry.
