SBF Intakes

OK so soon, starts the rebuild of my 95 302 w/ SD. Been researching a lot of parts and what not. But I can't find any aftermarket intake manifolds for the 302 that I can get excited about. There are however tons of choices for 351W and a few 302's with the 8.2" deck. So...how hard would it be to modify/fab a 351W or an 8.2" 302 intake manifold to fit my 302?

Where are you looking? There are a lot of aftermarket intake manifolds for the 302.

You name it...summitracing, JEGS, E-Bay, Amazon, Factory 5, problem is I am looking for something particular and what I've found, is only offered for 351W and 8.2 302's.

There are a lot of intakes for the 302 , any thing for the mustangs will work , but the stock 302 intake is a good intake to start with , its better than any 351 truck intake , so not sure what your talking about , ??

This ^.

The OEM intake is a PROVEN unit that's plentiful, and will flow as good as, or better than most of the aftermarket ones; Until you get into the really pricey ones.

The 5.8 truck intake may not be all that great, but the 5.0 truck intake is really a pretty good one and there isn't much need to upgrade to something else, unless you have an over the top build.

I would ask what your end goal in terms of Horsepower and Torque is. Picking a manifold/cam/head, etc. without having a goal is going to end up costing you a lot of extra money.

Its all on you for not getting the answer because you didn't reply with additional information. Get on the ball and fill us in.
This whole topic is bogus anyway, if you can't find an intake for the most heavily modified engine ford makes, you're doing something wrong.

Summit has 200 intakes that fit a 5.0/302 engine. http://www.summitracing.com/search/d...-size/5-0l-302
If you can't find what you're looking for, tell us. We can narrow it down. We can find boxed uppers and tunnel rams and whatever you think you might need.... But YOU need to fill in the details, which you haven't yet.
