I have a 1967 M35A2 (Military Deuce and a half) that loves the stuff. I pour it through a paint filter and dump it in.

 

I Drained the pontoon boats tank of year old mixed 2 stroke gas of 15 gallons,and have been using it in the lawn mower and gator mixed with fresh gas, Haven't even seen any smoke.Can't tell the difference in the way it runs.

 

That makes your Farmall a hybrid....it runs on gas...and a little bit of oil!!

 

Set something on fire! Works especially well on any of the ex wife's stuff she left behind.....

I have a waste oil furnace in my shop. You run a SERIOUS risk of blowing it and you UP....... putting in ANY fuel that will produce an ignitable vapor in a waste oil furnace is extremely dangerous!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have mixed very old gasoline with new gasoline (10:1 ratio or higher) and just burned it in any car or truck.

(I wouldn't use it in a marine engine though)

 

My two favorite answers so far.

Personally, I would never try to re-use old gasoline even if I was mixing it with fresh gas. I have enough fuel and carburetor issues of my own making. I certainly don't need to take a chance on creating more with somebody's old gasoline. I certainly would never put it into used oil that somebody might use for one of those shop heaters.

 

I have a motorcycle shop and run into this all the time. I save it and mix it with waste oil and call it "Boyscout In A Can". I use it for starting fires either in the wood stove or camping or??? And yes...it does work well as a weed killer. Like WD-40...it works on all kinds of things.

Just got through draining 3 year old gas out of a car I'm scrapping. Pretty urine color. Added some stabil , will mix it 50-50 with fresh. That will keep the mower going for a while (if the rain ever lets up). Car was running ok before I dropped the tank.

I`m with Doc or Tinman on this. Evaporation is cool but lighting something up is even better. Works great for starting the backyard firepit. Just duck when you throw the match in and let it burn for a bit before you cook your hot dogs or marsh mellows on it. Tastes funny otherwise...
