I've lived in a lot of places and for the last couple of years I've been living west of Laramie. "Hotter than firecrackers" does make me laugh, actually anytime I hear someone talk about how hot it is here. After spending a couple of years working down in Louisiana I adopted the saying "It's not hot 'til your jeans are soggy"
Ok Ok...I have been sitting in the shade playing guitar lately
I enjoy the heat, myself. Not a big fan of the humidity, though. And we have plenty of that heat, like you did down in Louisiana. What do you do for a living?
Right now working as an Engine Analyst on the pipeline covering central WYO from MT down to CO. Before this I was installing and commisioning new control systems on pipeline engines. The largest I've ever done was to install modern electronic fuel injection and ignition on a twin turbo V20 two-stroke making 12,000 Hp. Before that it had mechanical fuel injection and a magneto. That work kept me flying around the country, this job only keeps me out on the road a few days at a time.
