Learned some tough lessons tonight

Hey...you wouldn't go by iFord in another forum would you?

Yeah, I'm not too creative either. I created this account ten years ago when I was 17. Since then I've wished a few times I picked something different, but I'm stuck with it. I no longer fit my username as much as I once did, but threads like this call that into question.

Riding some manner of ATV would be the ONLY way I'll ever venture down that damn road again. I have some good insurance, but I don't see Progressive taking it too well if they found out where I was at. Insurance companies have to cover you regardless of circumstance, but they can also drop your policy and make life hard for the next three years.

I'd argue that the most damage you could do would total yourself, not the quad! Great point though.

These running boards aren't cheap to a working man like me. My wife destroyed her drivers side board on the Expedition and it was an $800 body shop repair. She ran over an old Toyota Corolla.

If my bride didn't have bad knees, I would have already taken the boards off my truck and put them away till I got tired of the truck.
Now, you boys are talking about your age, I'm clearly the old man here. I'll be 52 on the 14th of July.
How did your air dam work out Tom? Any damage up front?

That's funny. Back in the day before my area was all grown up and fully developed, i could easily spend hours of road and never hit the same place twice. Mudding around here now gets you a hefty fine.
Since I bought my 2011, I have no inclinations to scratch it, off road it or even work it hard. In fact, if the elocker had been available on the 4x2's in 2011, I wouldn't have bought the 4x4.
So, I will allow my truck to live it's off road dreams vicariously through all of you.
