Dude we are neighbors, I live in Lansdale. In October the place where I buy all my trailers and get them inspected has a yearly Q and A with PA and local DOT officials. The name of the place is Cargo Trailer on 8th st. in Lansdale. All your question will be answered there. These guys are always up to date on trailer laws and regulations.

I know where it is, never bought there, but I've wandered the lot. I work in. Hopefully by then I will have all my ducks in a row. I have heard that Fazzio's is comepetant in doing the combo registration also.

Mod note: I removed location due to spam

I have been to Fazio's lots of times but now it seems as if the younger ones don't know much.

Thanks for all the replies, I have been away from the computer for awhile when at home and work is slow today so I figured I would check in.

Pin Weight - not sure what it is but I will look and make sure it is with in the limits of a SWR Thanks for bringing that up.

If it is not, I have not problem going to a dually, it us just not my preference. I have driven all types of trucks over the years, and typically park in the back of parking lots anyway. Never did understand circling the lot waiting for that one spot to open up close to the door, just lazy to me.

I definitly want to be within the legal limits of the truck. That is why I am trying to do the most research I can now before taking off in the spring of 14. Since it will be pulling our home, if something bad were to happen I don't want the insurance company to find a way out of paying for the damage.

Its ironic the discussion about PA came up. We plan on spending some time there, since my family is in MD and my wife's in Mass, it is a nice central point. Plus I can visit Rausch Creek Offroad Park often.

We will have a home base of South Dakota, there are alot of RV'rs that use it as a base of operations. Good tax laws and very RV frendly.

Again thanks for all the responses. It has given me more to think about. I have found a SRW and a dualy that have the options I want so...
