Electrical/ Battery issue

Truck needed a jump Rocket Scientist hooked cables up wrong and burned them up. Did get truck started and ran for about a day. Cranked it up and it died. Replaced batteries (they needed it anyway) have 14 volts, when I try to crank engine volts drop below 10 and truck won't crank. Have checked ground wires and fuses, just doesn't seem to get enough juice to crank. Even tried jumping it with a service truck that had 3 batteries. Anyone have any suggestions????

Did you replace all the burned up wires from the backwards jump.

Sounds like a high amp draw to me.

The only wires that showed any burning were the battery jumper cables, none of the other wires showed any sign of being burnt.

I beleave your batteries were toast before the jump IDK, you can test each batt separate and see what you have 14vand I would replace both in pairs, also check the FICM that has to stay 48+ for good Injector health if the FICM is below 45 give Eds ficm repair a call, as far as jumping wrong way we need one of FTE techs to chime in about what damage this could bring to some or all of these componets.
