I am in the market for a new truck. I have bought four new Ford trucks in the past nine years and would like to make it five. In my research I stumbled across the fact that the rebates in Texas are 3500.00 higher than here in New York. I understand that Ford has target sales in various territories and would like to be number one in Texas, but your average blue collar man probably is not to concerned with that. About a month ago I emailed Ford expressing my frustration with this disparity, I received no response. Mind you it was a very polite email. I recently sent another and still no response. I guess after four new Fords in the the past nine years and four more used ones prior to that I was deserving of at least some attempt on their part to pacify me. Thanks for listening, I hope Ford does the same.
We here in California cannot register a car here from out of state unless it has 7500 miles on it. So they basically keep you from buying out of state by doing that.
In my research here, I found that most New England states and Cali are on the same emissions standards. These laws are strict as hell and unless you are a military non-resident, you're stuck.
