does anyone know of any area's around central Il. where is legal to play in the mud and muck. Now several guys that have trucks that they would like to get muddy but there doesn't seem to be many place's for us to go in the area.

Also I know there are a couple mud drags coming up in the area i will try to get so info and post them. Know one is in Avon, and i think Knoxville is still having one this year. just not real sure when they are. will post the info as soon as I get it.

Badlands in Attica Indiana. Yes I said Indiana, but it truly is an awesome place to go wheelin. From Urbana it takes me about an hour and a half to get there. Looks like you are from Peoria area so tack another hour or so on the drive time. But it is definately worth the drive. They have a website with event schedules, prices, hours etc... Hope this helps, not really central Ill, but is the closest legal wheelin spot that I know of.

I've heard of badlands. From the little bits if heard its sounds like a fun place. When we get a couple trailers to hull the trucks we will probably head there one weekend. but trying to drive the two main trucks there would break us on gas alone. A bronko that gets about 8 mpg if we're lucky, and an f150 that i just got and it still needs alot of work on the wiring just to get brake lights. I know of a place around Viola Il called the brick yard. has some good mud pits and a couple good hills to climb. Thanks for the reply.
