van vs truck
thanks!
If I were you I'd use my browser's "search" function to find the web pages for Borla, Flowmaster, Gibson, Magnaflow etc. E-mail them and ask them directly if they make a cat-back for your van.
If not you can go to your local muffler shop. They will fabricate one for you. It may even be cheaper that way!
Good Luck,
Bill
Let me tell you it's lots of parts but the people who sell them will not believe you. The best way to check for some would be to go to the motorcraft website. Once you look a part up they have an section that you can use to find what other vehicles a part will fit. You look a part up then you plug the number into the buyers guide not the interchange guide as you would expect. For instance the steering box for my van was used on 34 vehicles. E 150, E, 250, E 350, and the F 250 regular and heavy duty. I know that I looked up the wiper control module before and it came back to over 100 vehicles including all the trucks and them mustang. It also helped me with my serpentine belt. Motorcraft list the belt length as 100 inches (as does NAPA by the way) and everyone else list it as 99.5. I broke three belt tensioners before I tracked that down. This also the same lenght belt for the 4.9 liter. This is very handy tool. I believe that the front ends are identical. I have rebuilt my van and when I have checked out the trucks they are kissing cousins as they say. Good luck.PS remember automakers our cheap and they will try to use things in as many applications as possible to save money.
