get some tall tires, air them down unless you are loaded, get some Bilstiens and you should be ok. My vote, anyway. I run 265-17's at 55 psi and the ride is pretty smooth.
Wishing you well Bill, and a speedy recovery, The air shock is a great idea if the weight allows also and I see it advertised here on FTE , I have Owned a lot of trucks in my life and by far the Ford seats are the best, there are After market seats out there but I'm not to sure whos better, Your wife is right ( don't let her hear, you say that) you need to take it easy and heel up, In the mean time We as in all FTE guys can research your goods and feed back .
Got fitted for my back brace today walking around alot better,and yes I tried to climb up in my truck and got BUSTED by the wife........ she took the keys and locked it up, said I'm not getting back till the doc says so.....the dog ratted me out
