Fuel mileage drop

I got a 95 f250 7.3 4x4 single can long bed. Just put a Dana 60 up front and 4inch turbo back exhaust kit from mbrp. I used to get around 14 mpg. But ever since I did those things it's dropped to 10.5. Any reason why it would do this?

Are all the bearings and hubs good in the D60? Could be out of alignment, or have a caliper sticking a little. Make sure the 4x4 hubs aren't engaged. Do you keep your foot in it now to hear that new exhaust? LOL! That will do it for sure! LOL!

I can't really see the new axle weighing a whole lot more then what was under there before so I can't believe the new "weight" is dragging you down.

Did you get the new axle aligned after you installed it? With as much weight as there is sitting over the front axle on these trucks, the front end alignment makes a big difference in the rolling resistance of the truck.
