labor estimate question.
Anybody know what the book says for replacing 1 injector?

what book? with or with out diag time?
2.0 diag 3.0-4.0 labor is normal customer pay.
this does not include upcharges for things like a v-maxx

V-Mac moble air compressure, To the OP around here 1 inject + parts 650.00 that's why you bit the bullet and do all or at least the weak ones while the hood is open,. check around in your local chapters ,up on the top of this page is the forums button in there will be the chapters, click and scroll thru find the nearest chapter to you in there will be the best or recommended shops. good luck and post your out come

I am the shop.
A kid has this truck... he wants to make it just happy enough to sell it so he can get a 7.3...
So...
What if anything does an onboard air compressor have to do with an injector r&r?
Thinking im going to pass on working on this 6 leaker... not worth the headache.

Doing an injector on a 6.0 is an easy $$$$ maker.
Not sure why you would pass up 5 hours of labor and $300 of parts money just because...

I had two replaced at dealers, they were $1K each parts and labour.

Exactly
Most don't have that compressor thing
And that's for the Explanation MIKE I take it those are more for commercial trucks??

That compressor would be more for a commercial truck such as a service truck.
70-150 CFM compressors. Looks like a good way to eliminate a tow behind compressor.
