bbuffalo,
I am new to the additives, not to mention diesels, and after hearing about them here, then reading a lot about them, and then using it, I'd say yes. I really did notice (first 30 miles) it got a bit quieter, the acceleration increased, and the mileage is better. It's only a few dollars for Diesel Kleen at Wal Mart. Give it a try and see for yourself. Good Luck
I have used Power Service's Diesel additives since I have had my truck and am happy with their products. It can be found at most auto parts stores. After using it with every tank full , then not using it , I can def. feel the difference.....
Especially helps in the winter months with cold starting.......
Does anyone with the infamous cackle notice a significant reduction or disappearance in the cackle when using this product.
I have used the Stanadyne product 2 out of the last 3 fill-ups and have noticed the that engine no longer cackles?
Not sure about the cackle but I sure do notice the engine running way smoother with PowerService in it. Have not yet tried the Stanadyne stuff yet...the nearest place for me to get it is 40 miles away....Ahhhh the joys of living in central Wisconsin.
