Draw-Tite hitch install

I git my new Hitch the other day and plan on installing it this weekend . By looking underneath it looks like I need to drop the fuel tank!? Anybody have any experience installing one of these? It looks pretty simple otherwise . Just wondering if there is away around dropping the tank . Also , if I do have to drop the tank , what do you guys think about puttin' a bigger fuel pump in there like a 190lph?

Yea, the instructions say to drop the square metal pieces and the nuts thought the whole a little ways back on the frame. I tried this method they even go as far as to put a piece of wire in the installation kit so you can fish them down in there? I tried this method for a couple of hours with a couple of friends and we gave up with only two bolts on each side. This of course is not ideal but it saved me from dropping the gas tank. Also after all that it also hangs a little wrong. I would bite the bullet and drop the tank it’s just the best solution. I will reinstall mine when my fuel pump goes, like we all know it will!
