Question Clutch Problems

I have a '96 f-250 PSD with 139K about 4k back I started having problems shifting into 2nd, reverse and starting. I had to push on the clutch peadal really hard to started it. Replaced the bushing for the clutch pedal linkage to the master cylinder. With in a month the new bushing was worn out and needed to be replaced again. Had a mechanic look at it and was told that the rod for the master cylinder was shot and needed to be replaced. Replaced the master cylinder following the instructions in the Chilton's repair manuel. Now I can't seem to get all the air out of the line. Is there a bleeder screw or anything on the slave cylinder that will ease in bleeding the line. The slave cylinder is externally mounted and plastic. Is there also a way to adjust this clutch for someone that is short so that they aren't sitting on the steering wheel?

The only way to all the air out is to remove the reservoir, master and slave cylinder as an assembly and bench bleed it. Keep the reservoir and master up high and let the slave hang below it while bleeding.
