Been a busy one already... Going to take off a little early to take my daughter in to get her foot checked out. She was messing aroynd running and schmucked the top of it on a curb. The local radiologist tried to say she has an extra bone, and that the injury just irritated it. Turns out the genetic probability of such a condition is pretty slim... Both she and my wife commented that it sure looked a lot like a fracture... So I will take her in to the U of Iowa hospital to get it checked out. So much for her skating for a while.

 

Good morning Iowa, it's FRIDAY! Roger, hope you daughter is okay. I have to have one of mine checked out also. I accidentally kicked a landscape stone barefooted in our backyard two years ago. I thought I just bruised it, and let it go. But, it's started to really bother me, so I'm going to see a foot doc next month.

 

She just bruised it well, some soft tissue damage. Recovery hopefully won't be as long. My brother in law has a longer road though. He got rear ended at a stop light on his bike. He was fully stopped waiting for the light when they hit him. Broken pelvis and totalled the bike. Witnesses said he flew 2 foot, his bike went 8.

 

Man, sorry to hear about your BIL! Hopefully he recovers okay. Good to hear your daughter just bruised it, Roger.

Good morning Iowa, another Sunday stuck at work.

 

Had a late night last night at the drag strip, but I promised a guy I would look at why the windows won't roll down on his daughter's car at 8, so i am up... hw works 3rd shift, and the air doesn't work, so it was the best time to bring it to me.

Did you get it fixed? How was everyones weekend on this side?

 

Got extended to next weekend, he didn't want to try to come with expired plates. Can't argue, the fine is way higher that the cost of the registration.

100-106* temps Tuesday and will be hauling hay home 50 miles one way. Dad will be using my v10 with our 33 ft flat bed with 14 round bails, something like 34,000# gross weight.
