The e4od in my 1990 2wd F-250 is starting to shift pretty badly and I have been thinking about a zf5 swap for a while. I have most of the parts I think ill need except for well, the transmission. I have been looking around for a while and all I can find are the older 4 speed transmissions. If any of you guys have some tips on where to get one, about how much theyre worth, and any general tips for the conversion I'd really appreciate some input.
The plus is you're only looking for a 2wd one. Should be plenty out there, the 4x4 ones are the sought after ones. I'd say look at craigslist and local junkyards.
For tips, read all the previous threads on here from people that have done it.
