Why is Ford keeping this from us? I think it looks great! W

Maybe. But, Ford has the resources if they wanted to get it done. I guess I get a little

angry when I see something like this and we have no Ranger at all.

Reminds me of an avalanche. I'd rather have the old style ranger with a small diesel.

I don't like the wheels on that truck - makes it look like a "Hot Wheels" toy truck, IMO. The body shape is okay, but that bed is too small to do anything useful with...

There was a statement by a Ford exec not too long ago about why there was not going to be a US Ranger. (I think that it might have been discussed on fte)

Basically, they don't think that the market is large enough, The competition has picked up what Ford lost, but that's apparently about all. So, the US market is pretty much the same size now as it was when they quit making Rangers.

Message was that FoMoCO would focus on the F150 for the US market. It costs a lot of $$ to get a model certified for sale in the US.

Anyway, that's what I've read.

It just hit me where I'd seen that body style before...

It's a variation of the Ford Explorer Sport Trac....

I'll admit that the four door is getting on the big side for me. An extended cab would be much better. Of course this is never going to happen. A truck like this could take sales away from the precious F-150 and lord knows we wouldn't want that.
