Not always... I got my 70 for $650 and the bed is in better condition than that! The PO (my former co-worker) decide to sell it because his wife was on him about buying a Tundra and it was just driveway decor.

Awesome? It's a rusty, beat to death, overpriced rolling pile of miseries!

Look at the bed floor, looks like it spent several years on the bottom of the Columbia River.

Sorry ND, that's the way I like 'em! If I got that thing I'd fix her up, functionality-wise, but I wouldn't do a thing to the body. Driving it I'd have nothing to worry about; dings, scratches, fading, etc. (= I don't know why but I like that

Some will say that about spouses and significant others.

It's all in the eye of the beholder... a vision of what could be... not what is.

I think we need to see more pics of the dented tailgate.......

With that said, I'd roll in it with a little fire wrench to the coils to lower it.

Lol

Well Mike, I think you hit the nail on the head. We are used to a relatively rust free zone unless you live by the ocean.

Yeah Mike I think I'm spoiled too livin in SoCal. Paid I think $350. for mine a while back with not a spot of rust (but I did have a hole in the block).

On the other hand it would look cool with all the patina and slammed to the ground with some rusted baby moons on the wheels.

Def. too much work for me to restore tho. Later.

Only for the climate and rust-freeness...

The politics, socialism, and tax policies SUCK THE BIG HAIRY ROOT.
