Aluminim wheel fix
I 've been looking into that problem as my wife's alloys on her jeep have been peeling and corroding. The bodyshop guy said they can be turned in at a wheel dealer as a core towards reconditioned wheels. Also he said he can sandblast them, clearcoat them again but, they will not look quite as good as the original clearcoat. Then again they will look better than a peeling corroding rim!!

There is a way and I'm not sure how but I've seen it done to take the clearcoat off and polish the rims. The ones I saw looked awesome! It was one of those styles with the black in it and I'd never seen one polished before. Normally they are kinda dull but this one you could comb your hair in. It looked like chrome they had polished it so well. It was a one of a kind around here.

I'd like to know myself but I just saw them and talked to the guy as I had the same type of wheels and would have loved to do mine. He told me he could do them for $25 a piece but it was years ago and he didn't mention how he did it.
Let me see if I can get ahold of my buddy. I think he knew a guy who did them also.
