I've been reading old weatherstrip posts, lots of em. I know there are a bunch of places to get them. What I would like to know is how long ago did you replace yours? Who did you buy them from and how have they held up? I'm ready to do my belt-line in and out as well as the anti rattle felts and anything else in there you guys would recommend. The vent window rubber is good. I was once told that Dennis Carpenter actually makes this stuff from the old Ford machinery that he bought, true? His website says so. I ask because I have bought rubber stuff in the past (not from Carpenter) that was junk and was cracking after a few months. I'd like to get it right the first time as money is tight, Thanks much! Thought I would add this link http://www.dennis-carpenter.com/pdf/...ralRevised.pdf
I haven't bought yet, so am interested in the answers.
Carpenter reproduces weatherstrips in the USA while other repro parts sellers weatherstrips (unless they are buying them from Carpenter), are usually made in China.
You get what you pay for, buy the best and cry only once.
Carpenter is not using old FoMoCo tooling, his tooling is new and he also repro's weatherstrips for Ed Reynolds who owns Studebaker International, the largest supplier of Studebaker repro parts.
Pat Ford, Carpenter's "road man" attends car/truck shows/swap meets across the USA. Drives a newish F350 Stupor Crew pulling a trailer with catalogs/repro parts.
June 22, 2013: F100 Western Nationals Truck Show held at Canyon RV Park, part of the Featherly Park complex north of the 91 freeway in NE Anaheim.
I've attended this show since 2006 and Pat Ford has been there every time, so I assume he'll be there this year.
Also located in NE Anaheim is Blue Oval Truck Parts. Located in an industrial park, there is no sign on the building.
To find it, I walked around until I found an open garage door, inside was a 1965 F100 and shelves w/a gazillion parts.

Lots of great infomation NumberDummy I have been leaning towards the Carpenter stuff. Anyone used them? I think their kit for both doors is around $150.
I bought lmc stuff and it was made in Thailand from what I remember. Good fit and seems to be good quality. We will see in the long run (only had it a few months).
