You've got this down to a science with great selections in instrumentation and other parts. I'd like to know where you have the Money Tree hidden? My philosopy is to do it right or don't do it at all. Now you really got me interested in seeing the finished product. I am sure all those who see this thread will give you their support. I wish I had the incentive and money to do this level of restoration. Be faithful and God will guide your path. ron

Got tires. One was on back order but it came in the next day.
20X10 in back 20X8.5 in front. Pretty low profile. Hopefully ordering rear rims tonight, so I can figure the new rear end, since ours was wrong. Leaving for Missouri Thursday, so will try and keep y'all updated as much as possible. Haha the cat liked the tires too!

You still haven't told me where you have the money tree! Did the cat come with the tires --may start a new trend. Take your time, your doing a great job--now its time to relax. This will give you a better perspective and clear your mind in case there is some concerns for the remainder of your restoration. In case you find a complete Emergency Brake System for my 1961 Ford F100 that is missing from my truck-- apparently eliminate during some earlier stage of developement and very hard to find now, just forward the info to me even if it is in the OZARKS! Best Regards. ron

Trevor, with Dad's help your moving forward at a good pace. I imagine that your having the engine bored. I don't know what is recommended for that size V8 generally it's 30 over? Keep in mind about the radiator core size as bored engines require better cooling since the cyclinder walls are thinner. With 30 over it shouldn't matter. What about the heads any modification there? The greatest part of this is that when your done you know that it will be RIGHT! When your 1955 is succesfully done I have a 1961 that you can build for this old guy. Stay Well. ron
