I was towing my boat yesterday up to Pedro and the engine shut off when i rolled into a small town and then all my oil blew out off the intake manifold area
putting about a gallon on the ground. I lucked out, there was a AAA towing station across the street and the came over and pulled me into there lot.
Any way when I looked on to the manifold with a flashlight I found an 1-1/2"
"o" ring and a "c" clip. What is this off of?
Its a 1999 F250 SD 7.3

Thank,s
I have to "assume" you've used the flashlight to look for any obvious disconnected hoses/lines? Have you checked to see IF there is any oil left in the engine? Are there any obvious signs of where the oil came from?
Really need more information before anyone can do some long distance "guessing" on what or where those parts are from.
Hope others can chime in here.
Ya it's not the high pressure lines. I got out a mirror and found its the high pressure oil pump. the c-clip and cover blew off. It was replaced a year ago.
I have to call my mechanic that did the replacement and see what the warranty is. If any. LOL
Well hello Bay Area neighbor! Clay at RiffRaff is up in Oregon, and Joey at Terminator is on Modesto, so getting a T500 quickly should not be hard. Dang, towed the truck all the way back from Don Pedro?!
Agreed, more info needed by looking around for obvious. But it just may be parts from the EBPV.
Here's a link to Bob's site and a rebuild kit if that's it. There's other options also. Might try posting in the 7.3 section 99-03 Turbo Pedestal EBPV Rebuild Kit
that 1 1/2 was stumping me as I have just done the HPOP and lines, fuel bowl and nothing in that area has that big of O-ring. but the EBP as I have rebuilt mine too. this would make a good possibillty. strange for it to come out though.
