glow plug problem
I have a 1989 f250 7.3 lt diesel xlt lariat esi w/e40d. on the passenger fender the is a relay with 4 terminals on it. 12 oclock and 6 oclock are small terminals 9 oclock and 3 oclock are large terminals the 9 oclock terminal has an 8 ga wire coming right off the battery which is always hot. when I turn the key on should the 3 oclock terminal be hot then also. I believe that the wires to the glow plug relay are attached to that post, as the run via a black and pink wire and then into the tan wire that run to the glow plug relay but it does not activate when the key is turned on???
