well it geting hot here in good old arizona and im noticing my temp is getting up there. little over 1/2 when its only 100 degrees out. i put a lazer temp on the upper hose and lower hose, upper was around 210 and lower 195, if i let it sit for a few minutes theres not much difference between the two, it does have almost 200,000 miles on it. maybe time for a new radiator. im concerned whats going to happen when its 120 out.
210 is acceptable, up to 235 I believe. Nothing to worry about unless the needle hits "H" or you feel frisky and wanna start a major overhaul of the cooling system. Just be sure the radiator isn't obstructed and still has a nice green color to the antifreeze.
put a new radiator. instead of it running at 3/4 it runs at little over 1/4, the inside of the old one was brown and rust. dont know how much is in the block but right now it 200% better. ofcourse i had to nick it putting it in, just a pin hole, good old alumnuim seal to the rescue. is nice to not have to worry about it.
