Salvage yard is your best bet. You need to find a fully functional drive train and suspension. Your 2WD trans will not work (may have to change the tail shaft or the whole thing depending on what you got) with the other 4WD components. Your front end suspension, steering, brakes etc will need to be changed as well. Oh, ring and pinions need to match and you may need to swap the rear axle ...or at least the gears as well. Hey, it may be easier (and cheaper) to buy a "new" F-250 4X4.
