Hello, I just bought a 1994 F-350 4dr Dually w/ International 7.3L turbo (Non-Powerstroke) today. It's got 234K miles, but has been well serviced and drives/runs great. Body is extremely straight, not even any door dings anywhere. Paints faded & dull but a test buffing showed it will come back like new. The hood will need repainting (paints cracked), and the drivers side dually fender will need some fiberglass work & paint due to the PO forgetting how wide it was and whacking an ATM. Interior is good, needs a new headliner (which I can do), and a drivers side door panel... and a whole lot of shampooing & scrubbing. But otherwise is in very good shape.
I'm a mechanic by trade, with exp in bodywork and paint (my family owned a bodyshop for 22yrs.). I also was a commercial sales rep for Napa Auto Parts for 15yrs. But I've never owned a diesel. So this will be a learning experience. I'm sure to have a lot of questions.
This truck has been my "Dream Truck" for years. I always liked the late-80's to mid-90's body style, and always wanted a crew cab diesel dually.
I'll post some pictures of it tomorrow before I clean it, and then some after I finish detailing it. Hope the results amaze.
