Hey guys and gals,
I've been lurking these forums for a while now getting much needed help with my 1976 F150 that I bought on New Year's Day. Finally decided to join the conversation.
First, thanks to all for the abundance of information. Everyone here seems ready to help, suggest, debate, joke, and support, which is fantastic.
My two year old daughter, Grace, absolutely loves my truck. We have a brand new space-aged-nuclear-powered-every-bell-and-whistle minivan that we bought just for her...but she's not happy unless we're rumbling along in "Papa's Truck" The name kinda stuck...
Anyway, the important details:
1976 Ford F150 long bed 2WD, bone stock 360FE, C6 tranny, 9inch rear.
BTW I'm an old Chevy guy, so I'm going to need all the help I can get
We don't mind much if you liked other brands around here... heck, I like at least one car from most other brands, and usually am very un-biased. We'll help you whenever we can, you probably already know were to go, but this link should take you to a bunch of guys who love your truck model: 1973 - 1979 F-100 & Larger F-Series Trucks - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums
Also, you should look into joining your Regional Chapter, that way you'll link with FTE members closer to you, welcome to FTE!.
