Greetings Dear FTE Members,
I have two, rather simple questions but I know you will be patient with me and guide me in the right path.
First, it is truck maintenance week. Someone tell me what the little valve? or tube is that one should check and clean out? Once I have the name of the thing, I can do a search for exactly how to do the clean out. Just can't remember the things name.
Second, anyone out there put a buzzer or other warning device on the parking brake pedal or such. I keep driving with the brake on and have now completely smoked those poor pads. I mean three years for parking brake pads is not good considering I had to put new pads on because the original owner had smoked them. The idiot light is not enough for this Id-yot!
Thanks for your help.
1. Exhaust Backpressure Sensor and EBP Tube.
2. You could wire up something that uses the "grounding" of the pin switch on the Park Brake pedal to activate it.
