Thanks all. Glad I could help out! This local yard is family owned and they 'specialize' in powerstroke diesels.
They get a lot of them. There was about 8 total the other day. lol
I kinda feel bad if you can get them all new for $40... but as you said you do have a factory harness!
Since I am apparently unable to be lucky enough to buy a truck with cab lights, I've been looking for some. We had a set that I put on my old EC, but then I sold it when I found my CC, which does not have them. They say hindsight is 20/20, and I would have never put them on that truck if I knew I was going to find my CC. Does anybody have a set with the factory wiring harness lying around in a corner somewhere they may want to part with? Even just the wiring harness would be good. I've looked at the ones from LMC trucks, and I may eventually get them for the new lenses, but I'd like to have the factory wiring harness so I don't have to splice into the wiring. Just thought I'd ask.
I may have a set here. They are factory and are a bit hazy/faded. They are complete with wiring harness if I have them. If I have them they are yours.
Is it a single wwire plug? Mine are hooked to the dimmer by po i guess...thinking i should go ahead and fix it...maybe recover the headliner too...
Speaking of headliners, mine was pristine, till I helped a buddy move and I was putting a bunch of his wife's clothes on the back seat. I stabbed that sucker like 5 times with hangers. Just kept doing it like a moron. I was so mad at myself for that. At least I did it though.
real easy. well it was for a regular cab...im sure a CC wont be as easy. just pull the liner and board out together.
lay it down and pull old liner off ans go to any fabric store and pick the fabric you like and you can find a can of 3M spray sold at most fabric stores.
just spray the 3M glue on the board and lay the fabric out and your done. my choice was camo. ill try to get a pic.
if i can do it anyone can. fyi glue sets up pretty quick. good luck
The plastic trim all around and across windshield hold it up mostly.also dome lights.its easy.I'm not sure about the logistics of getting the cc out of the cab.todd.u need the "yes its my truck...no i won't help u move " bumper sticker lol
