On the new housings, the inside of the rubber boot will have to be cut out to fit the HID instead of the 3 slits for the H4 bulb, but it still fits tight.

I am extremely pleased with this set up and can see EVERYTHING on the road. In 4 months I have been flashed twice. The E-codes give a great pattern and a good cut-off, and the color of the HID is very nice, I went with the 55w over the 35w, but 35 would probably be bright as well. Before on a lighted street I could barely tell if my lights were on, now it is a whole new world out there. Enjoy!
I would have to agree. They might be fine in a big city with all the ambient light around, but out here in the sticks they blind the crap out of you when you meet a vehicle running them. I hate those things.
Everyone had their own opinions and I too hate getting blinded, but properly aimed headlights will fix most of that problem, housings are the other part. Most people putting in these kits just plug and play, do not re-aim their headlights and put them in housings that throw an irregular pattern. IMO it is much safer to have these than not being able to see anything like it was previously. To each their own.

I agree with you when aimed properly and with good cutouts they won't blind on coming traffic on flat straight roads. The problem I have is none of the roads around here fall into the flat straight category.
I'm glad you're happy with them I will be even happeir when they outlaw those. It can't be safer when the on comming driver is covering his eyes because you're melting their retinas with your headlights.
What is even more worse is the idiots that put those on their motorcycles. Great you just blinded the guy that you're heading towards at 120mph. Wow here's your sign.
