Well I've notice I have a loose bottom ball joint on my passenger side as well as a tie rod. I replaced the tie rod and now it is time to replace the ball joint. The top one doesn't seem like it is moving...I am wondering if I should the top as well?
What brand of ball joint is good? I know Moog is the best but $44/each does hurt the wallet BUT I know you pay is what you get. I did hear some negatives about Moog too.
How about auto zone, O'Reily, etc brand ball joints? I used O'Reily on my old SAS Bronco I had BUT I didn't have that Bronco long enough to tell how they were.
Anyone also know the socket size for ball joint nuts too?
i always try to buy Moog when i can, but i suggest you buy the best you can afford and do all of them at one time or maybe one side now then other side next payday. ball joints arn't something i consider fun so when its time to do one i do them all so i don't have to worry about them for a long while.
