Squeaking pulley

Ok I have a squeaky pulley only when I give it gas. I replaced the idler pulley and still squeaked. I put my head under the hood to listen but can't hear where the problem is. Anybody have any tips on finding the culprit?

I would say a mechanics stethoscope if you could do it and not get tangled in the belt? I have one too but I think it is the water pump.

You sure it's not the belt. I had a squeak once and thought it was a pulley and a mech friend said belt . He sprayed some lube on the belt and squeak went away. Replaced belt and all was good.
