Bulb Voltage Help
Okay....The bulbs behind the climate control cluster recently went out on my 97 Ranger XLT. Tore out the console and got ahold of the bulbs to take down to the local auto store. Looked around the store for replacement bulbs only to discover that there were at least 5 that could work, asked the man if he knew which to buy but he was no help......so looking for a broader range of knowledge. Could someone please tell me what distinguishing numbers I can use to get replacment bulbs. Thanks

Sorry I couldn't find the specification on that bulb in my manual. You might try calling your local Ford dealer and see if they can help if no one else has any ideas.

I took a look at other postings here and realized that the bulbs behind the gauges are 194's. I took a gamble and bought those, turns out I guessed right......All fixed
