i am new to this hobby and have received a 2wd 1979 f150 from my grandfather. And am wondering what would be the best way of transfering this truck to 4wd

what is involved in swapping bodys? I have a 78 f150 and one day i want to make it a 4x4. Is doing a body swap complicated or pretty simple? Does anything have to be modified?
