I know my 94 has the single pump. it might be in 92 when they went to the single pump design to coincide with the body change/update.

I appreciate the input, I'm considering an 300/6 Bronco EFI swap but want to find a donor with at least THAT much of the stuff already in place...

Again thanks.

The switch to the single in-tank high pressure fuel pump was 1990. Prior to the 1990 model year Ford used a low-pressure in-tank "priming" pump and the high pressure pump was mounted inside the frame rail directly beneath the driver's seat. As far as swaps are concerned, the two different in-tank pumps used different sized mounting rings making it expensive if not cost-prohibitive to swap from the low-pressure unit to a high pressure unit in the tank unless you are willing to swap fuel tanks as well.

I appreciate the comeback. I have experience with the two pump system while working with Bii's. I wanted to avoid that expense so the info you provided will help me to search for a later donor.

I have a complete 90-300/6 and may use it to make an EFI Bronco..but wanted to find a donor that had most all of the rest of what i wanted..

Thanks..

As Grey stated, the 2 pump setup lasted until 1989.
