I would like to by a couple of things for my truck and my father says that i can and then one day he comes home and says that i can't. He says that the flowmasters will clog the cat because it will flow ot east do all the fumes will not get properly burned and clog the cat. The K&N fuel injection perfomance kit i want he was told will mess with the computer and give false signals because of the cols air the is coming, also he claims that it will decrease my gas millage. Is this a bunch of bull or does that stuff really happen?

Always listen to your parents.
But from what I read, or thought I read from your post.
Flowmaster part is bull, the rest I can't make out, please retype your question.
You're dad should get new sources. Flowmasters will not clog the cats. If anything, they will keep them from being clogged cause now the exhaust gasses can flow through the exhaust more quickly, giving less time for it to be in the cats. The K&N thing is wrong, too. These trucks LOVE cold air. Winter days do not phase the computer, so why should a lower intake air temp cause any damage? The only way it would get srewed up is if you put too much oil on the filters when you clean them, and it goes into the cylinders, and just causes a mess.
