Brakes Argh!!

I have an obs but my dads fits is a nbs so some of the stuff (like four wheel disk brakes) is foreign to me. I had been letting the local mechanic do the work on it. After some brake work (replacing the passenger side caliper) the brakes were mushy they have been bled multiple times and even had a computer bleed once. After I looked at it I noticed that the bleed screw on the drivers side is on the bottom so i am assuming that this is causing the problem. One question is is it normal for the drivers side to be on the front of the rotor and the passenger side to be on the rear of the rotor.

If the bleed screw is located on the bottom of the caliper, it will be impossible to get all the air out of the system.

It is normal if your truck is a 99. Could be possible on a 2000 as well. I've seenquite a few with the rear calipers oriented this way and they were all 99 MY trucks.

As mentioned above if the bleed screw is on the bottom you can't get the air out. Had a similar issue on my Probe. Did not realize at first that there are right and left calipers, get them reversed and you will be there till the cows come home trying to bleed them.
